Your workspace · LESSON 4 OF 8
Build a store around a use case
Prepare a focused collection, explain equipment listings and understand what an enquiry or referral actually means.
In this lesson 3 sections and a knowledge check
After this lessonUnderstand the store workflow without confusing an enquiry with a completed sale.
Give your collection a clear purpose
When stores are available for your account, open Your store in the Igniter workspace. Choose a clear store title and describe the kind of problem you help solve. Build collections around a useful outcome, such as a small-office network or a remote-support kit.
Use Add to Store on suitable FUSE catalogue products and explain why they belong in the collection. Check compatibility between products, required accessories and the intended audience. A saved draft is not necessarily an approved, published listing.
Describe your own equipment honestly
If equipment listings are available, include the exact model, condition, included accessories, known faults and your own clear photographs. Remove private data from devices and images. State what you have checked and what you cannot verify.
Where equipment checkout is enabled, a buyer can use collection or an approved delivery option shown for the listing. A paid order, its named seller and dispatch responsibility are separate from an enquiry. An enquiry alone is not an order, an escrow service, a processed payment or a payout commitment.
Keep conversations useful and private
Where the private inbox is enabled, use the relevant conversation to clarify fit, condition and requirements. Do not request passwords, card details or identity documents in a listing or chat. Use FUSE support if a message or payment request looks suspicious.
A referral link can identify a product recommendation. A FUSE catalogue product remains a FUSE sale when an Igniter recommends it; the store attribution is recorded separately. A click, an enquiry or an attributed order is not itself a cleared commission. Only an explicit programme offer and an available account reward establish what you can receive.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
Practice task
Plan a three-product collection for one audience. Write one sentence for each product explaining its role, and identify one compatibility check before you publish.
This is a practice task. Submit to an appropriate open mission separately if you want your work reviewed.CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING
