Keep improving · LESSON 8 OF 8
Help shape FUSE through the council
Suggest a useful improvement, understand council membership and follow published meetings and outcomes.
In this lesson 3 sections and a knowledge check
After this lessonParticipate in the Forge Council without confusing feedback with financial or binding voting rights.
A monthly conversation with a real agenda
The Forge Council is designed for a monthly conversation with the FUSE team about what is working, new features and improvements. Open Forge Council in the Igniter workspace for the actual published host, date, named time zone and agenda. An intended monthly cadence does not mean a meeting has already been booked.
An organiser approves the council roster. Only approved active members see the Forge Member badge and private video link and can confirm attendance or give advisory votes. A subscription or HP level does not automatically purchase a seat. The video provider controls admission to the call.
Turn an observation into a useful proposal
Active Igniters can suggest up to three topics before a published meeting starts. Explain the problem, who it affects and a practical improvement. Pending proposals are visible to the author and organisers. You can withdraw a pending proposal; the organiser reviews the text before publishing it without your name.
Keep customer names, addresses, order details, device secrets and private meeting links out of proposals. Accepted proposals and organiser responses can be read publicly. Use private support for a problem with an individual order.
Follow the outcome
Approved members can support, oppose or abstain on a published proposal until the meeting ends. Each member has one current response. These are advisory preferences: they do not change prices, taxes, commissions, programme terms or company decision rights automatically.
After the meeting, read the organiser's notes and next actions. Closed totals are preserved when the meeting is completed or cancelled. Council participation does not award HP, shopping points or cash. Publishing a meeting in the workspace does not itself send a calendar invitation or email.
PUT IT INTO PRACTICE
Practice task
Draft a council proposal with three sentences: the problem you observed, who it affects and an improvement worth discussing. Remove personal information and check the workspace for a published meeting before submitting it.
This is a practice task. Submit to an appropriate open mission separately if you want your work reviewed.CHECK YOUR UNDERSTANDING
