HPE G2 Metered Power Distribution Units (PDUs) provide active metering to measure the overall PDU power usage, allowing you to take advantage of Hewlett Packard Enterprise power capping features in the Hewlett Packard Enterprise servers. The aggregate current draw can be viewed via the local LED display, as well as remotely through a web interface. G2 Metered PDUs monitor power consumption with ± 1% billing-grade accuracy. With HP’s optional environmental sensor, the PDU can also actively monitor the temperature and humidity of the rack, ensuring that you are aware of environmental changes that could impact your equipment. G2 Metered PDUs are available in a variety of form factors and power ratings.
