The Cisco Catalyst C9300X-12Y-M is a high performance Layer 3 enterprise access switch with 12 SFP28 fiber downlink ports supporting 1G, 10G, and 25G Ethernet. As part of the Catalyst 9300X family, it is built on the Cisco UADP 2.0sec ASIC, delivering line rate 100G IPsec encryption and deep buffers for demanding campus and aggregation deployments. This -M variant is managed via the Cisco Meraki cloud dashboard, combining Catalyst hardware capabilities with Meraki cloud management. The C9300X-12Y-M provides 1 Tbps of stack bandwidth with Cisco StackWise-1T technology and supports flexible modular uplinks using a network module slot for additional SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, or QSFP28 interfaces. It offers advanced Layer 3 routing, comprehensive QoS, and security features, including MACsec and secure tunnel connectivity using IPsec with AES-256. The switch is a compact 1 RU rack mount platform with front facing SFP28 ports, ideal for high density fiber aggregation or distribution roles where copper access and PoE are not required. Cisco Catalyst 9300X-M switches are designed for hybrid campus networks, enabling consistent policy, visibility, and automation through Cisco Meraki. The C9300X-12Y-M supports modern campus architectures with mixed 1/10/25G fiber access, stackable redundancy, and integration with Meraki monitoring, configuration, and assurance tools. This model ships without a power supply by default, allowing selection of appropriate modular power options for the deployment.
